Billy was abandoned at a hospital, arriving in critical condition — anemic, septic, and extremely emaciated — he was close to death. He received extensive treatment and rehabilitation over a couple of months.
Today, he’s full of love, energy, and joy — a constant reminder of resilience and the power of a second chance.
We attempted to adopt him out after his recovery, but he decided to stay. We can't imagine what he went through before this, so we're going to make sure he's smiling for the rest of his life.

I’m so glad he was saved. I wish for him to be loved and needed by a family. That said, if you think he’s best cared for there then I’m sure he’s in the best place. One of my cats was born in the dirt under someone’s porch. By the time his mom and sibs were rescued several of his liberates had passed. He has no desire to go outside ever again. I’ve tried to coax him onto the enclosed porch but he’s terrified of the outside. As far as he’s concerned he’s happy to stay inside and enjoy being spoiled.
